POWHERFUL WOMAN – LINDA HOANG

If you follow Linda on Instagram, you’ll understand why she was invited to be a part of our PowHerFul campaign. Linda is a social media strategist, ethical blogger, content creator, speaker, educator and more. She is a huge supporter of local businesses and enjoys exploring and highlighting her favourite places to eat, places to visit and things to do within our province. Linda is an anti-racism advocate and she recently teamed up with some friends to develop an education tool called Stop Race Based Hate to help individuals that have a hard time articulating why something is racist.

She is known for her positive energy, her love of Instagrammable walls, and pets but that doesn’t make her shy away from being an advocate for our community, or sharing her personal journey and struggles. Linda shows us what can be achieved by standing up and supporting each other.

In her own words, we asked Linda to share some words of advice from an entrepreneur to other women entrepreneurs.

“It’s not imposter syndrome. You DO know what you’re doing and you’re good at it. Too often women second guess themselves. It’s great to be thoughtful and pause for considerations in the work that you do of course but, in case you need to hear it—you DO know what you’re doing and your work IS worth what you’re charging (in fact, it’s probably worth more—charge double what you were going to lol). “
