POWHERFUL LIL’ WOMAN – HARPER HANKI

We are so proud to reveal that this year we are also recognizing PowHerFul Lil’ Women! Children are so resilient and often teach us the definition of strength. ⁣⁣

We are thrilled to reveal our first lil’ woman as Harper Hanki. Harper was born with both grit and determination to fight her way through life. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
In 2019, she was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1 which at the time, gave her a life span of just two short years. Harper was born just in the nick of time and was lucky enough to get access to three live saving treatments over the years - but not without a battle for each of those medications. She is now thriving on borrowed time and this summer, she will turn five. ⁣⁣

Harper has bravely faced 13 surgeries in her four short years. She continually has more therapy dates than play dates and has visited the hospital more times than any one should in their lifetime. If you ask her, she will proudly state that she is strong, she is brave and she is kind. We couldn’t agree more! ⁣⁣

⁣Our PowHerFul collection also includes children’s loungewear to celebrate the lil’ women in your life. The collection is now live and 40% of the next proceeds will benefit YWCA Edmonton.⁣⁣
