As we celebrate women this month, I’m so excited to reveal the PowHerFul© initiative. An idea that began over a year ago, I wanted to create something that would last beyond today and this month. Something that could remind women of their strength, achievements, and challenges as well as inspire women to continue their efforts. In addition, throughout the next few weeks I’ll be sharing the advice of 4 amazing women who consistently uplift and empower other women.

I’m also thrilled to feature YWCA Edmonton who is a community leader in advocacy, counselling services, disability services, sexual health and wellness services, youth programming for women and families in the Edmonton area. They are a powerful voice for equity and has been leading social change and progress for women and families since 1907. Through education, empowerment, and a service-centric approach to supporting clients, the YWCA inspires leaders to advocate for equity in our community. YWCA Edmonton provides programs and services to more than 11,000 people each year; support they depend on every day.

With the sale of a “PowHerFul” cozy sweater or a pink ceramic camp mug, 40% of net proceeds will be donated to them for the entire month of March.
